Surface preparation: The surface must be uniform, leveled, dry and clean. Remove existing weak parts and loose layers of old coatings. Smooth out cracks and chips using plaster or putty compounds. Sand the putty with fine sandpaper. Remove dust using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. Application: 1. Before applying Travertino naturale, carefully mix by hand, do not mix with a drill, especially at high speeds! The material is ready for use. 2. Using a stainless steel trowel, apply an even coat Travertino naturale. Allow the surface to dry. 3. After 30 minutes, use the edge of a trowel to form chaotic depressions on the surface. These indentations should look natural and be located fairly evenly on the surface. 4. After 1-2 hours, slightly level and compact the surface with a trowel, so that the surface resembles the texture of rough-hewn stone. Movements with the trowel should be made in a horizontal direction with minimal pressure. If the plaster Travertino naturale has lost its elasticity during the smoothing process, lightly moisten it with water from a spray bottle. 5. After the coating has dried (24 hours), sand the surface with fine sandpaper. To enhance the decorative effect, it is recommended to apply the following materials with a large-pored sponge after the texture has completely dried: Seta, Lecetezza, Velluto, Cera Décor, Pastello Vernici, Perla Vernici, Fleur Deco. When used as a finishing coat Pastello Vernici, you must first apply a primer layer of untinted material diluted with water 1:1 to level out the absorbency of the surface.
