It is recommended to tint the primer paint Base in a color that is half a tone lighter than the topcoat. 4. Before application, carefully mix the material VELOURS by hand. The material is ready for application. Applying the material should begin from the upper left corner, moving to the lower right. To avoid noticeable joints on the surface, always work on a “wet edge”, leaving a minimum amount of material around the edges. 5. When working with the tool, it is necessary to apply a small amount of material to the edge of the trowel with an auxiliary spatula. When applying, try to maintain the same layer thickness without creating texture. 6. Apply the material at an air temperature of 15-25 ° C and a relative air humidity of no more than 65%. Mixing with materials from other manufacturers is not allowed. To create a velvet effect (applying in one layer), apply an even layer of material VELOURS onto the dried primer paint BASE with a Venetian trowel, in small sections, create a pattern with multidirectional movements. To create the effect of draped velvet (applied in one layer), apply the material VELOURS with a Venetian trowel onto the dried paint primer BASE in small sections and form a pattern using a circular motion with the flat of the trowel or a “washer” (round trowel) in different directions. If you need to create a smoother pattern, wait until the material begins to dry and smooth it with a trowel.
