Apply to previously prepared mineral substrates: concrete, concrete blocks, brickwork, cement plaster, gypsum and plasterboard boards, wood, as well as prepared and primed plastics, metals, and other smooth and textured substrates. SURFACE PREPARATION: The surface must be uniform, level, dry and clean. Remove existing weak parts and loose layers of old coatings. Smooth out cracks and chips using plaster or putty compounds. Sand the putty with fine sandpaper. Remove dust using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. The quality of surface preparation must correspond to category K4 according to SP 71.13330.2017. APPLYING THE MATERIAL: Using a brush or roller, treat the surface with deep penetration primer Primer. Let dry for 2-4 hours. Using a roller, apply paint Fiora in an even layer, leaving no traces of the roller coat, tinted to match the color of the finish coat. Let dry for 2-4 hours. The finished material, after thoroughly mixing components A and B, is applied using standard techniques for applying thick materials like plasters using a spatula, trowel or squeegee. IMPORTANT! Do not use a foam roller when applying the coating, as changes in the decorative properties of the finishing coating may occur. Do not mix with materials from other manufacturers. ATTENTION! Insufficiently dried surface at each stage can subsequently lead to defective finishing effect of the metal coating. The humidity of the surface to be coated (substrate) should be 7-10%. Apply material Fluido Metallico at an air temperature of 10-25°C and a relative air humidity of no more than 65%. Temperature conditions affect the final drying time and complete polymerization. Recommended drying temperature is 18-25°C. Drying after 24 hours, complete polymerization after 3-4 days. Sand the dried coating until a natural metallic sheen appears (the metallic coating itself) using cthe following abrasive materials: sanding mesh, blocks, brushes, films and paper with abrasive with a grain of 360-6000 units, non-woven sanding materials with a grain of 360-6000 units. After some non-woven abrasives, finishing with “000” metal wool is necessary. If necessary, complete the coating treatment by polishing the surface using natural sheepskin, foam wheels and various angle and other polishing machines using polishing pastes for metals. It is also possible to finish (polish) with soft felt, microfiber and felt, also using metal polishing pastes. IMPORTANT! Avoid overheating the surface during grinding and polishing! Overheating can lead to local darkening of individual areas of the treated surface.
