Installation Note

Apply the first layer of material in different directions using a brush, working in small areas of 1...2 m2, with the consumption specified by the manufacturer. Let dry for 2...4 hours. 5. Apply the second layer of material also in different directions using a brush, working in small areas of 1...2 m2, with the consumption specified by the manufacturer. Brush marks do not require additional smoothing, because thanks to them, the effect of aged, vintage walls is enhanced. Let dry 24 hours. 6. Decorative lime paint requires mandatory protection. To do this, it is necessary to use a specialized composition for lime paint Decorazza Calce Finitura according to the manufacturer's instructions. Let dry 24 hours. Important! Apply the material at an air temperature of 15...250C and a relative air humidity of no more than 65%. Decorative lime paint is very porous, so it quickly absorbs water and grease. Direct exposure to water and/or condensation may leave marks. The paint requires careful handling during operation, since it is prone to the “Writing Effect,” one of the most common defects associated with the appearance of whitish stripes from mechanical loads on painted surfaces. This defect is typical for matte paints.

The material is intended to obtain the effect of aged walls without seams and joints on walls, ceilings, columns, friezes and other architectural details indoors on various mineral surfaces in rooms with low operational load. Not recommended for application on surfaces previously painted with oil and alkyd paints.

Scope of application

TINTING: The material is tinted using universal pigment pastes using a computer method according to the catalog Lime paint. The lime base Lime paint has high alkalinity, because of this some pigments lose their coloring ability and may change shade, so when tinting it is necessary to use alkali-resistant inorganic pigments. Do not store tinted material for more than 14 days; this may lead to a slight change in the shade of the material. SURFACE TYPE: Apply to previously prepared mineral substrates: concrete, aerated concrete, concrete blocks, brickwork, cement plaster, lime plaster, gypsum and plasterboard boards, absorbent natural stone and other mineral surfaces. SURFACE PREPARATION: The surface must be uniform, level, dry and clean. Remove existing weak parts and loose layers of old coatings. Smooth out cracks and chips using plaster or putty compounds. Sand the putty with fine sandpaper. Remove dust using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. The quality of surface preparation must correspond to category K4 according to SP 71.13330.2017.
